Answer: To create a project, log into your Civilino account, go to the ‘Data Logging>Projects‘ section, and click on ‘Add Project’. You’ll need to provide details such as project name, location, budget, milestones, and team members.

What is a Gantt Chart and how can I use it in Civilino?

Answer: A Gantt chart is a visual tool that helps track the schedule and progress of your project’s tasks. In Civilino, once you define a project, you can add tasks and timelines in your project setup and assign it to the project team members. The platform automatically generates a Gantt chart that you can view and update as the project progresses.

How do I define tasks and track their progress?

Answer: Tasks can be defined in the ‘Tasks’ section of each project. You need to provide a task name, description, start and end date, and assign it to team members. Progress can be tracked through the task tracker tool, where updates can be logged, and completion percentage can be adjusted.

How milestones are defined in Civilino?

Answer: Milestones mark significant points within a project’s timeline. You can set them up during the project creation phase in Civilino and update them as needed. They help gauge whether the project is on track according to the predetermined critical points.

How are invoices managed in Civilino?

Answer: Invoices can be created, sent, and tracked directly within Civilino. The platform supports the generation of invoices based on completed tasks or milestones, and you can manage payments received from clients. All invoices related to a project are stored in a tab on the project overview dashboard.

It can be used during the planning phase for budget creation or throughout the project to adjust and forecast financials based on actual spending. There are more than 1500 cost items for heavy construction works already defined in Civilino and users can their own items for cost estimation.

What is the contractor inquiry board?

Answer: The contractor inquiry board is a feature where project managers can post inquiries or requirements for subcontractors. Subcontractors registered in Civilino can respond to these posts, enabling efficient contractor hiring and management. The subconstractor board is directly linked with the items defined in the cost estimation. You can send inquiries in bulk to the selected subcontractors for a specific item of your project and once they fill the ‘Price Request Form’, you will instantly receive the cost from contractors. You can select one out of many and add it to the project cost.
